Ugly Valentine’s Day breakup at UNC attended by hundreds thanks to Facebook
A message board I frequent had this up. Apparently, some guy at the University of North Carolina used Facebook to organize a massive event on Valentine’s Day in which he would elaborately breakup with his girlfriend in the middle of one of the college’s common areas. Hundreds of students attended including cameras from the local student TV station. A female acapella group even provided the occasion with a rendition of the Dixie Chick’s “Not Ready to Make Nice” (which coincidently, won a Grammy last week). What followed was something out of a Jerry Springer episode. You can view the Facebook group here.
Anyway, in addition to the student TV station filming the whole thing, somebody made an amateur video of it and threw it up on youtube.

So what do you think about this? Could it happen here? Is this the end of Western Civilization? Better yet, who do you think carried the day?

Oh my god… I’m so sick of people’s insecurities. These people are awful. I would never have a child because I’d worry that the child would turn out like one of them.

More evidence on why people under 25 shouldn’t have the right to vote… or for that matter, have any rights usually given to adults.

The “SMALL PENIS!” chant said it all.

Leeeeeeroooy nnnJenkins… LOL Sry had to…
I see nothing wrong with this. If more guys and girls did this when lovers cheat maybe people would think twice about breaking a bond. Im all for this. We are all just simple creatures. And hopefully next time this girl thinks to cheat she will remember this day. Lession learned.

Yeah she cheated on him, he showed her, the school got some great entertainment, the loreleis a capella group got some press, and hes rid of her now, and she might be reformed. plus, she went to nc state, so its not like she had feelings

LEROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOY JENKINS.
Anyway.
Not real. Nobody HUMAN would go from caring about someone one day to wanting to humiliate them publicly the next.
Doesn’t make sense.

This is a thing of beauty. It may be childish and even asanine and hurtful but she f%*#ing deserves it. If I cared about someone and they did this to me I would do the exact same thing.
I might have picked a better song though.
And gotten some better footage.

I happen to know both of them, and have for a long time. He is a sweet, friendly, wonderful guy, mostly on the softspoken side to tell you the truth. I grew up going to church with her but I think that she deserved it - and he was too good for her in the first place.

Ha ha they’re all dumb.
Glad I’m not them.
