Iraq War quote of the day

1:32 am —

Republican Maine Senator Susan Collins in a LA Times story detailing the possibility of a compromise between Congress and President Bush on new stategies for the War in Iraq and the implementation of some form of divided federalism for the Iraqis:

“It’s essentially giving federal approval to ethnic cleansing. On the other hand, nothing seems to be working.”

And there you have it. That sound you hear is the wheels finally coming off.

So only one comment gets published?

So what else is new? Western civilization has silently consented to jihadi genocide waves since the 6th century. Thus, the nearly unbroken history of genocidal Muslim expansion waves from Morroco to Malaysia.

Does it surprise anyone that Muslims periodically revert to fratracide once the infidels resolve not to be killed? Afterall, they must murder someone to get into paradise. If Romans and pagans won’t willing submit their necks (for now), why not settle for wayward co-religionists?

Shia and Sunni are indoctrinated from birth to hate each other– almost as much as infidel Christians, Hindi, Buddhists, Jews, animists, etc., ad nauseum).

If history is any judge, this death cult we call Islamo-fascism must suffer the fate of Shinto-fascism before “hearts and minds” change over there.

Too bad for them. Frankly, I’ve given up caring the day they attacked our sacred land of Virginia and our holy city of New York.

As long as we’re discussing genocide, will some dhimmi please ask the jihadists to kindly return occupied Constantinople and the sacred Hagia Sophia? They can keep the bones of the extirpated Byzantine saints. For now.
