					<description>Having stumbled upon Mr. Sherman's website today, I read his response first, then your post here.  He makes a compelling argument for his earnest, albeit archaic, word choice.

I have long argued that people should be called as they wish, but it's a murky thing to know: ex. 'Hispanic' vs. 'Latino'.  
Mr. Sherman makes a good point:'Negro' is still a suitable term according to the United Negro College Fund, so it follows that it is still a politically correct usage.

Maybe he could phrase things more smoothly, but, Mr. Jacobson, also sounds like there are a few entities in this story that need to work on not being so reactionary and quick to judge.</description>
